What if users are not convenient to see mobile screens during meetings?
Users can also control key features by tapping/swipping VUE glasses' arms.
The project was initiated by a strategic decision to transform VUE Glasses from a general audio device into a specialized AI tool based on primary user needs.
VUE Glasses are primarily used by young professionals (22–40), comprising over 80% of the user base.

Work efficiency can be improved at various stages of the business meeting experience. We mapped the user flow into before, during, and after meeting stages, identifying potential ideas to address the frustrations highlighted in the user journey map.
From the user flow map, we can clearly find out the experience cycle is driven by the primary action -- "record".
Debating on Options...
There are a few crucial pages in the overall user flow, but I developed different options to achieve the same goal.
Which one is better? Can we keep both?
Instead of endless internal debates, I decided to let potential users provide the answer, which I incorporated into the Hi-Fi design. There are 16 usability tests conducted to guide our next steps.

1. Based on user feedback, I removed the redundant items from the user flow, making it truly lean as an MVP, and more friendly for mobile users.
2. I added gestures for starting/ending recordings, pausing/resuming, and highlighting, while minimizing conflicts with existing gestures.
We refined the solutions based on user feedback from wireframe usability tests, and enhanced the UI for consistency and accessibility.

14 out of 16 test participants test participants stated that the new meeting features meet their needs.
Enhanced Control By Glasses During Meetings
Staring at a phone screen can be distracting, especially for users with dyslexia. To reduce screen dependence during meetings, we can shift the focus toward actions controlled directly through VUE glasses.
Boost Efficiency Across Devices
Many users rely on desktops or laptops with various professional applications. We could expand synchronization beyond just calendars, enabling users to process meeting information across a broader range of devices and applications.
Beyond Business Uses:
What about everyday conversations outside of work? Since VUE glasses target individual users, we can extend their use to daily life, allowing users to record important conversations or voice memos in non-business settings.
